Your trusted partner for responsible and sustainable Blue Swimming Crab meat
Delivering the authentic taste of superior quality Blue Swimming Crab, carefully harvested from the rich waters of the Indonesian archipelago.
Responsible Sourcing & Sustainability
Rooted in Indonesia’s maritime heritage, we are committed to responsible sourcing and sustainable practices throughout our operations.
We ensure full traceability of our Blue Swimming Crab (BSC), working closely with coastal communities and supporting the livelihoods of small-scale fishers. Our raw materials are sourced from traditional fishers operating vessels under 5 GT, with the largest reaching approximately 7 GT—reflecting our focus on artisanal, community-based fisheries.
Using bubu (traditional crab traps), a selective and environmentally friendly fishing method, we help minimize bycatch and protect marine ecosystems.
Fishing activities take place in close proximity to our mini-plants across Indonesia, allowing the crabs to be landed fresh while also helping reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
Through these efforts, we aim to provide consistent, high-quality crab meat while supporting sustainable fisheries and the long-term health of Indonesia’s marine resources.
Supplier Approval and Compliance
We work exclusively with approved suppliers, each registered under a unique supplier code. All suppliers must pass a formal approval process and sign a Supplier Sustainability and Quality Agreement, committing to responsible harvesting and handling practices.
All suppliers must comply with the following minimum requirements:
- Minimum crab weight: ≥ 60 grams
- Minimum carapace width: ≥ 10 cm
- No berried (egg-bearing) females
- No use of chemicals or preservatives
- Fresh and properly handled raw materials
Each delivery of crab meat is accompanied by complete documentation to ensure identification and traceability. Our team regularly conducts supplier and mini-plant audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
Traceability System
In line with our commitment to transparency and sustainability, we empower consumers to trace the journey of our crabs—from harvest waters to the final export destination. Through our strategic partnership with PT. Sahabat Laut Lestari, we utilize the advanced TraceTales traceability system, a digital platform that ensures every step of the supply chain is recorded and verifiable. This system provides a seamless and trustworthy experience, highlighting the integrity, origin, and handling of our products.
The TraceTales system captures detailed information across all key stages, including:
By integrating TraceTales into our operations, every batch of crab can be traced back to its catch area, mini-plant, and supplier. This enables complete traceability, ensuring transparency, accountability, and confidence for consumers and partners alike.

Harvest Areas and Fishery Profiles
Our Blue Swimming Crab (BSC) is sourced from carefully selected coastal fishing regions across Indonesia, where small-scale fisheries operate within productive and diverse marine ecosystems. These harvest areas are located along Indonesia’s key crab-producing coastlines, including Java, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi, and are supported by traditional fishing communities with generations of experience in crab harvesting.
The fisheries in these regions primarily use traditional crab traps, a selective and low-impact fishing method that supports sustainable harvesting while protecting marine habitats.
